Northern Portugal

Baiona was the last stop in Spain for Yacht Skyfall. Annick was flying out to Lisbon to meet us so the sailing schedule was tight. We sailed directly to Porto which we had visited (and loved) in 2013.

After some days in Porto we stopped at Figueira da Foz and took the train to visit Coimbra, an old University town. Next stop was Nazaré, famed for surfing and massive waves. Peniche was next, which also gave us the opportunity to visit Obidos, a medieval town in the hills.

After cramming all that in too short a time we headed for Lisbon.
